Asian American Youth Leadership Conference

The Chinese American Citizens Alliance, Portland Lodge assumed stewardship of AAYLC in 2010. Under the direction of C.A.C.A. Portland, AAYLC carries forward Mr. Duong’s legacy, fostering a spirit of service, unity, and empowerment among future generations of leaders.

The annual conference has grown since its original inception in 1993. AAYLC now hosts close to 500 high schools from Oregon and SW Washington and is open to all ethnicities. The Ambassador Engagement Series (AES) was added in xxxx which is a series of workshops focused on providing additional leadership skills. AES is open to our ambassadors who are a select set of juniors and seniors that help plan, organize, and lead at the annual conference.

Volunteer opportunities exist for both adults and high school students. For adult volunteering, visit the cacaportland.com Volunteer Page. For junior and senior high school students, visit AAYLC student ambassador page.
